A Kilowatt-Hour Is a Unit of Energy, Not Power

Your bill is measured in kilowatt-hours (kWh), and the confusion starts with the name. A kilowatt (kW) is power - how fast energy is used. A kilowatt-hour is energy - how much is used over time. Btu IT vs. thermochemical
