Frequently Asked Questions

What DIM divisor do carriers use in 2026?

UPS and FedEx use ÷139 for domestic (all packages). USPS Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express moved from 166 to 139 on July 12, 2026, with ceiling rounding. DHL Express uses ÷139 (in/lb) or ÷5,000 (cm/kg). Amazon FBA uses ÷139 with size tiers updated January 15, 2026.

How is chargeable weight calculated?

Chargeable weight is the greater of the actual scale weight and the dimensional weight. Dimensional weight = (length × width × height) ÷ divisor, rounded up. You are billed on whichever is larger.

How can I reduce DIM weight?

Use the smallest box that safely fits the item, remove void fill (air pillows, foam), and compress or flat-pack products. Every inch of excess size adds billable weight at the ÷139 divisor.
