- •Teach division as the inverse of multiplication: 24 ÷ 6 = ? asks "6 times what is 24?" Students who know their times tables find division much easier.
- •Use "quotient, divisor, dividend" language consistently so students can follow word problems later.

Why are there no remainders?
By default every problem divides exactly, which is the right ramp for learning. Use the range controls for bigger numbers; the engine keeps division exact at any range.
What grade is division introduced?
Division as equal sharing appears in grade 2, and the division facts are formalized around grade 3–4 (Common Core 3.OA.C.7 and 4.NBT.B.6).
Can I print a division test without answers?
Yes — turn off "Include answer key" for the student copy, then print a second sheet with answers for grading.
